§ 8.01. Effective date.

This charter became effective on October 1, 1988, except for section 4.05 herein, which became effective January 1, 1989, as approved by a majority vote of the electors of the city voting on the question of the approval or disapproval of this charter in and at the regular city municipal election held in the city on the 8th day of March 1988.
