§ 86-234. Standing in a loading zone.

  • (a)

    No person shall stop, stand or park a noncommercial vehicle for any purpose or period of time, other than for the expeditious loading or unloading of passengers, in any place marked as a loading zone or loading zone commercial vehicle only during hours when the regulations applicable to such loading zone or loading zone commercial vehicle only are effective, and then only for a period of time not to exceed five minutes and only when such temporary stopping, standing or parking in such loading zone does not interfere with a commercial vehicle in such loading zone or about to enter or exit such loading zone.

    (b)

    No person shall stop, stand or park a commercial vehicle for any purpose or period of time other than for the expeditious loading, unloading, delivery, or pickup of personal property or materials in any place marked as a loading zone or loading zone commercial vehicles only during hours when the regulations applicable to such zones are in effect, and then only for a period of time not to exceed 30 minutes.
