§ 86-69. Authority to designate school zones.

The traffic engineer is authorized to determine, upon the basis of a traffic investigation, the portions of the streets of the city which should be included within school zones in order to protect children approaching or leaving both public and private schools located within the city, and shall place appropriate signs giving notice thereof of such school zone.
