§ 86-55. Authority to install traffic control signs, signals and devices.

The traffic engineer shall place and maintain or remove traffic control signs, signals, lane markings and devices when and as required under this chapter or other traffic ordinances of this city to make effective the provisions of this chapter or other ordinances, and may place and maintain such additional traffic control devices as he may deem necessary to regulate traffic under this chapter or other traffic ordinances of this city or under state law or to guide or warn traffic.
