§ 82-193. Intent and declaration.

It is the intent of the City Commission of the City of West Palm Beach to provide an incentive for new businesses to locate in the city and for existing business to grow and expand thereby increasing employment and contributing to the overall economic development of the city. The city commission declares that the provision of ad valorem tax exemptions pursuant to this article serves the public purpose of fostering economic growth in the city' which benefits the city's residents and business owners. This article shall expire on March 15, 2026 unless renewed as provided by law.
