§ 78-490. Intent.

  • Built along the sidewalk, parklets are designed to expand the public realm in unique and creative ways creating social spaces by transforming parking stalls into lively outdoor places where people can eat, read, sit, and relax.

    Parklet permits shall be a license and privilege for use of a portion of public right-of-way and no interest, right or continuing expectation shall be conferred by such permit. The parklet provisions in this article may be amended or repealed by the city commission.
