§ 78-213. Petition content.

  • Petitions filed under this article shall contain the following:

    (1)

    A legal description of the subject right-of-way and a statement the proposed action, whether to vacate or close.

    (2)

    The names and addresses, according to the latest ad valorem tax records, of all property owners whose properties abut the subject right-of-way.

    (3)

    A map, drawing or blueprint depicting, the subject right-of-way and all the streets, roads, alleys and other rights-of-way within the subdivision or general area.

    (4)

    The means proposed for the closure of the subject right-of-way, if applicable, selected from established city standards.

    (5)

    A statement of the reasons for the proposed action and the public benefit that will be derived therefrom.
