§ 78-33. Fee to cover expense of inspection; deposit to insure proper construction.

In consideration of the granting of the permit required by section 78-31, the city is hereby authorized to charge a fee in an amount as set by the city commission from time to time to cover expenses in connection with the inspection of the alteration of the curb, a sidewalk and driveway and its ultimate restoration to original line and grade. The city is also authorized to require a deposit of an amount equal to the city engineer's estimate of costs of the curb, gutter and sidewalk to be altered to insure proper construction, such deposit to be returned on approval of the public utilities director.
