§ 78-7. Notice of paving, etc., to be given to public service corporations.

Before paving or otherwise surfacing, resurfacing or improving any street or alley in the city, the mayor shall cause notice to be given to all public service corporations using the streets for their mains, conduits, tracks, poles or other service lines that such service lines, tracks, mains, poles and other appurtenances are to be examined and placed in first-class condition before such streets or alleys be paved. In case such service lines are abutted by vacant lots which will, in the future, require service, connections shall be made by the persons owning and operating such utilities, prior to the paving of such streets.
