§ 66-98. Contract administration.
The user department, division, or agency shall have primary responsibility for contract administration. Staff shall be assigned to receive, inspect, and otherwise monitor the procurement to ensure that the contract is performed according to its terms. Such contract administration shall include preparation of adequate written documentation to support contract payments and determination of compliance with all contract terms. Progress payments and final payments shall not be made unless the user department director verifies contract compliance. The user department shall provide the procurement official with all documentation and information requested pertaining to a contract in a timely manner.
