§ 66-95. Reports to the city commission.

  • (a)

    Procurement opportunity report. When the procurement official initiates procurement for services and master agreements over $50,000.00 and construction over $100,000.00, the procurement official shall report such procurement initiation to the city commission (the "procurement opportunity report"). The procurement opportunity report shall contain the description of the procurement, the method to be used, user department, and such other information as the procurement official may deem appropriate. Within ten days of the date of the procurement opportunity report, any member of the city commission may make a written request to the mayor that any contract for such procurement be approved by the city commission prior to execution.

    (b)

    Procurement selection report. After a provider for such procurement listed in subsection (a) is selected, the procurement official shall report such selection to the city commission (the "procurement selection report"). The procurement selection report shall include the description and amount of the procurement, the vendor selected, and such other information as the procurement official may deem appropriate. The procurement selection report shall include information regarding any emergency procurement which was made during the reporting period.

    (c)

    Contract status report. Upon written request of the procurement official, a user department director shall report the status of contracts and amendments to such contracts of procurements listed in (a) of this section to the city commission. The contract status report shall contain the original contract date, the original contract amount, cumulative change orders or amendments, the estimated completion date, and other appropriate information.

    (d)

    Work in progress reports. The user department director shall submit to the city commission such work in progress reports as may be requested.
