§ 38-40. Dispensing devices for class I and II liquids inside buildings restricted.

No dispensing device for a class I or class II flammable liquid shall be installed within any building where the possibility of the pocketing of flammable vapors exists, thereby creating a hazard. The fire chief and/or the fire marshal shall by inspection determine if such a hazard exists. All sewer lines or catch basins must be covered to prevent gas vapors from entering open pipework.
