§ 2-200. Accounting division.

(a)

There is hereby created, within the finance department, the accounting division.

(b)

The head of the accounting division shall be known as the chief accountant.

(c)

The chief accountant shall be responsible for the establishment of a system to ensure the accuracy of the financial books and records of the city, including accounts payable and payroll.
