§ 2-421. Head of department; functions and powers; divisions.

(a)

The head of the public works department shall be known as the director of public works.

(b)

The department shall be responsible for maintenance of public property of the city, including but not limited to, the maintenance and repair of streets, rights-of-way, curbs, sidewalks, gutters, streetlights, traffic and traffic maintenance, solid waste collection and sanitation services.
