§ 2-414. Recreation division.

(a)

There is hereby created, within the parks and recreation department, the recreation division.

(b)

The recreation division shall be responsible for the planning and delivery of quality recreational, educational and developmental activities, including, but not limited to, recreation center based programs, after school and out-of-school activities, athletic leagues and events, nature center educational programs and other community activities and recreational opportunities for youth, teens, adults, seniors and families.
