§ 2-64. Guidelines.

Liaisons shall not direct committee or board staff, nor direct the committee or board or any member of the committee or board on which they serve as liaison. Liaisons shall not vote on any item being considered by the committee or board unless otherwise provided by law or by prior resolution of the city commission. Liaisons shall opine on matters before the committee or board membership only if previously directed to do so by vote of the city commission as a whole at a public meeting.

The city commission may adopt by resolution additional guidelines regarding liaison positions, not in conflict with this section.
