§ 2-63. Liaison functions.

  • Liaisons are required and authorized as follows:

    (1)

    To attend all meetings of the subject committee or board.

    (2)

    To be responsible as an objective conduit for the information flow between the committee or board, and the city commission.

    (3)

    To contribute to the efficacy of the committee or board by providing information of available city resources when necessary and providing updates of city commission meetings and/or agenda matters.

    (4)

    To contribute to the positive public perception and achieving the aims of the subject committee or board.

    (5)

    To provide commission feedback when requested from the committee or board members at meetings while allowing the committee or board membership to faithfully undertake its duties as independent entities, within their statutory authority.
