§ 22-409. Affidavit required for certificate of use.

  • Before a certificate of use required by this article shall be issued, the applicant shall file with the city an affidavit that the applicant will observe and carry out the requirements of any provision of this Code in force at the time of application, or any provision of this Code passed thereafter and during the time the applicant's license is in force, in relation to secondhand goods dealers or their business and shall include that the applicant has agreed not to purchase any camera, radio, television set, lawn mower, typewriter, addition machine, calculating machine, copying machine, duplicating machine, tape recorder, tape player, cash register, still or moving picture projector or offset projector, dictating machine, record player, electric buffer, electric polisher, electric floor waxer, computer equipment, fax or any item that is manufactured with a serial number or other identifying insignia, unless the item shall have plainly visible thereon the manufacturer's serial number or other identifying insignia.
