§ 22-227. Solicitation and pick up of passengers.

(a)

Solicitation at bus stops and trolley stops. No vehicle for hire company or driver shall solicit or pick up passengers at any duly established Palm Tran bus stop or at any city trolley stop.

(b)

Use of signaling devices. No vehicle for hire company or driver shall solicit passengers or attract their attention by calling or using a horn, bell, whistle or other signal device for calling out for passengers. This subsection shall not apply to non-motorized passenger vehicles equipped with a manually-operated, nonelectric or non-motorized bicycle bell.
