§ 22-226. Schedule of maximum fares.

(a)

Schedule of maximum fares established by city. It shall be unlawful for any vehicle for hire to charge or collect, or attempt to charge or collect, any fare in excess of the current schedule of maximum fares established by resolution of the city commission.

(b)

Display of meter rates. A rate card containing the current schedule of maximum fares shall be displayed in the interior of every vehicle for hire in such a manner as to be plainly visible to passengers at all times. Every vehicle for hire shall conspicuously display their meter rates on the exterior of the vehicle. Every metered drop rate shall match the displayed rate.
